Charts
Astra Image can create publication-quality charts. This includes
histograms, photometric measurements and line plots. Data for line
plots can be taken from a horizontal or vertical slice of the image, or
from a line of user-defined length and angle.
The chart on the right is a horizontal slice through an image showing
the central part of a galaxy. |

Customisation
Charts in Astra Image can be customised to suit you. The chart
title, the X and Y axis titles can all be changed. In addition,
grid lines can be turned on or off and each axis can be inverted.
Once you have configured your chart, you can copy it to the clipboard,
save it or print it. This allows you to use the chart easily in
your report or publication. |
